Are you looking for an opportunity where you can manage, develop, challenge, and optimize the supply planning process? If yes, you could be our new Supply Planning Manager to be based in our Kuwait office and will report to the General Manager.

Manage, develop and optimize the supply planning process

The Supply Planning Manager will be responsible for reviewing sales forecast from sales and marketing teams, prepare forecast based on warehouse/transit stock, warehouse capacity, and safety stock levels. You will issue purchase orders to different internal and external suppliers, manage inventory levels in all warehouses with a tight focus on ensuring fresh product availability. You will implement and monitor the right policies and procedures in all warehouses including handling and storage of materials, maintaining the right level of inventory, return goods, damage, and expiry. You will also prepare and act on various stock-related reports and KPIs for review and improvement purposes, and Distribution Resource Planning.

To be successful in the role, it is important that you are proactive and focused on efficiency and effectiveness. You will be responsible for a stable and strong stock inbound process and timely delivery. You will furthermore support our joint venture partner to secure efficient warehouse management which also includes staff training, motivation, and follow-up.

Solid background in forecasting and planning

You hold a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Supply Chain Management and have at least 5 years’ experience, preferably in FMCG industry. You have excellent planning and time management skills and a strong business understanding. You are proactive, innovative, results-driven, assertive, and a very good team player. You thrive on making decisions, showing initiative, and have an enthusiastic approach to your work and surroundings. In this role, it will be a plus if you are a good user of SAP  and have basic knowledge of Kuwait laws for customs, food safety, and local regulations.

The SAP ERP New User Training, is the preliminary training level for all new users of the SAP ERP system. It is required for anyone who is new to the SAP ERP Domain. Other Levels of Training are, SAP ERP End User, Super User and Certification/Consultant Training.. READ MORE
